Delivery
No shipment will be made until the amount is duly credited, with specific retention of title by Cuffiamo until full payment is made.
As an indication, the average processing times for taking charge and preparing the order are indicated in 5 working days (from Monday to Friday, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays) and the delivery terms are indicative and are calculated in 2 days working days, except for longer delivery times for some countries and which will be duly communicated to the Customer before completing the order. Any liability of Cuffiamo is therefore excluded for all damages deriving from anticipated or delayed delivery, total or partial.
If, for reasons not attributable to Cuffiamo, the Customer or the carrier designated by the latter fails to take delivery of the products, Cuffiamo, upon notice to the Customer, may store them by charging the latter for any related costs incurred.
The delivery of the products is carried out by courier. If there are problems relating to the delivery (such as, by way of example, non-delivery due to the absence of the Customer), the Customer can consult the policy provided for by the shipping service and the conditions indicated below.
How to behave upon receipt of the package
When the courier delivers, the customer must check:
• that the package is intact, not damaged or wet and in any case compliant with the standard characteristics of a package,
• that the number of packages indicated on the waybill corresponds to the quantities actually delivered.
Any disputes must be immediately raised to the carrier, in the absence of these, the product is considered delivered correctly.
If upon receipt of the goods the package is damaged or tampered with, it is necessary to:
• express a reservation: the package is accepted but before signing the document the customer must write “I accept with reservation because the package presents the following anomaly …. (describe the damage you observe on the parcel)”. It will thus be possible, once the package has been opened and any damage has been found, to be compensated for the damage suffered;
• express to the carrier the unacceptability of the package due to tampering: refuse the package due to tampered with.
If the customer does not carry out these operations, Cuffiamo considers the package duly delivered.
Average delivery times are 1-2 working days for Italy. Deliveries are made from Monday to Friday, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. Some items, for logistical reasons, have longer delivery times. For the regions of Sicily and Sardinia, very peripheral or difficult to reach locations, it usually takes 5-6 working days.
In particular in shipments:
The courier usually makes an attempt and does not deliver to the floors; if for any reason it cannot carry out the unloading (lack of consignee, incorrect address, etc.) a notice will be left with instructions for redelivery. If the redelivery is also unsuccessful, the goods go into storage and remain in the courier's warehouse for 10 days.
Therefore, please make sure that at the time of delivery it is possible for the Customer or his representative to collect the goods, or it is possible to request that the goods be delivered to another shipping address other than the billing address at hands of a person appointed by the Customer by indicating, at the time of the order, in the appropriate fields to be filled in.
We recommend leaving a telephone number: in the event of problems with delivery (for example, momentary absence of the recipient) the courier will contact you. When the goods are delivered by the courier, it is also recommended to check their correspondence and integrity. Any damage or missing parcels must be reported immediately by signing with reserve on the transport document, with simultaneous communication via e-mail. Only in this way is it possible to proceed with the partial or total replacement of the products.
In any case, the methods of execution of the delivery service by the courier and indicated here may vary and Cuffiamo does not assume direct responsibility for the correct execution of the shipping service by the carrier. The Customer is required to consult the policies and terms of service execution on the carrier's website.
